OH GOD NO, EVERYTHING TASTES HORRIBLE AFTER PIERRE HERME! :( I'm not kidding. These macarons, while they looked nice, were too chewy, too sweet, didn't have enough flavor of whatever they were supposed to taste like and didn't have enough filling. I should probably give Thomas Keller a break since he's not French, but still, these babies cost $2.75 each and they're totally not worth it.
...I should also say that if you never had a macaron before, these wouldn't taste bad. I think. It's just...they could be so much better.
